Highlights:

The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO), the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) and the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT) jointly organise an information security webinar.

With the rapid development of different online platforms, it has become very convenient to obtain and share information online. However, it is not an easy task to determine the authenticity of the overwhelming information. Criminals may also spread fake information or scams through online platforms to deceive users. Therefore, we should stay vigilant to the information online and handle it with care to protect ourselves and others.

In this webinar, cyber security experts will explain how to protect our online information, and also provide useful tips to help organisations and the public to defend against cyber attacks and beware of false information online.

With respect to the recently published consultation paper on “Cyber-Dependent Crimes and Jurisdictional Issues”, PISA executive committee is encouraging our members to discuss and provide inputs to this consultation before its deadline on 19 October 2022.
