近日，本會注意到社交平台上出現若干言論，試圖將本會與特定網絡行為扣上關係。對此，本會深表關注，並特此作出以下聲明：

本會始終以建立專業交流平台、推動資訊保安發展及倡導網絡道德為核心宗旨。所有正式會員均經過嚴格的資歷審查，以確保其專業性與道德操守符合本會標準。- 對「相關成員」表述的澄清
社交平台中所提及的「關係成員」與本會之關聯性不明，本會對此表述感到困惑。若相關言論或行為涉及非正式會員或未經本會認可之人士，其言行均屬個人行為，與本會無關。- 不干預個人網絡行為
本會一貫尊重個人網絡自由，絕不干涉會員或公眾的合法言行。惟我們重申，任何網絡活動均應遵守法律法規及道德準則，本會亦持續呼籲各界共同維護理性、負責任的網絡環境。- 重申對網絡道德的支持

Dear PISA members,
We would like to inform you about an upcoming maintenance and upgrade of our email service. On 29th December, 18:00 - 22:00 HKT, our email service will undergo scheduled maintenance, which will result in a temporary termination of the service during the designated period.
This maintenance is crucial to ensure the continued reliability and optimal performance of our email platform. During the maintenance period, you will not be able to send or receive emails. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and kindly request your patience and understanding as we work to complete this important upgrade as quickly as possible.
We anticipate that the maintenance window will be from 18:00 HKT to 22:00 HKT. Please note that these times are approximate, and the duration may vary depending on the complexity of the upgrades and any unforeseen circumstances.

Calling for Election Candidates
Dear PISA and (ISC)2 HK Chapter members,
As mentioned in the PISA AGM email sent earlier this week, the joint AGMs and Committee Elections will be held on October 14, 2023 when all our existing valid PISA members are eligible to vote during the AGM.
For those members who are interested to join the elections as candidates, please note that there are 4 vacancies in PISA ExCo (4 vacancies in 2-year term) and 4 vacancies in the (ISC)2 HK Chapter committee. Jim SHEK and Andy HO have been appointed as the election committee to coordinate this event.
If you are interested to join one or more of the elections as candidate, please read carefully the attached “Rules & Regulations for Election of Executive Committee Member”, fill in and sign the Nomination Form [Download Here].
Nominated candidate should email the completed nomination form to the Election Committee ( andy.ho@pisa.org.hk and jim.shek@pisa.org.hk ) no later than 10 calendars days prior to the election date (ie. before Oct 4, 2023) . The Election Committee will acknowledge each submitted nomination via email.

PISA email alias forwarding to Gmail issue
Recently, we found that GMAIL no longer accepts SMTP forwarding feature.
i.e. <alias>@pisa.org.hk forwarding to <user>@gmail.com does NOT work anymore.
We have sent an email notification to corresponding PISA members, and seek for an update. Please feel free to reach us if you want to update the email forwarding setup. Please send us an email to membership[at]pisa.org.hk

Please block your calendar to attend our PISA and (ISC)2 HK Chapter 2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Committee Elections. Detail as follows:

Due to the recent development of the COVID-19 in HK and the government requirements to reduce gatherings, we will run it in a virtual mode. There are three major activities in this Zoom Meeting
1. New Released “Cyber-Dependent Crimes and Jurisdictional Issues” Discussion
With respect to the recently published consultation paper on “Cyber-Dependent Crimes and Jurisdictional Issues”, PISA executive committee is encouraging our members to discuss and provide inputs to this consultation before its deadline on 19 October 2022. If you are interested to be the SIG committee of this consultation paper on Cyber-Dependent Crimes and Jurisdictional Issues, please contact Mr. Frankie Leung (frankie.leung@pisa.org.hk).
