The damage of the fibre cables due to the Taiwan Earthquake has caused serious impact to the telecommunication services in the Asia Pacific region. Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan were some of the seriously affected locations. IDD calls and outbound Internet services were seriously affected and caused a lot of impact to the normal running of the business and activities. Looking back into the incident, what are the lessons learned? What are the areas of improvement? We have invited various speakers to share their viewpoints from various perspective.
